On February 25, 2012, the Azerbaijan Youth Translators Association (AGTA) held its second event in frames of Youth Translators Support project: Meeting with well-known local conference interpreter Turan Aliyev. The even began with a presentation from Aliyev, followed by a Q&A section.  Titled “Introduction to world of translation”, the presentation gave interesting tips about self-training as a simultaneous interpreter, specifications of this profession and challenges in the translation process. After the presentation, the attendees addressed the guest speaker with questions of their concern.

At the end of the event, AGTA Chairman Ismayil Jabrayilov noted that the organization will continue events in support of youth translators and that each event in frames of Youth Translators Support project will be devoted to specific problems of translation.
