Azerbaijan Youth Translators Association is organizing 1st National Translation Forum of Azerbaijan on September 30, 2013 to celebrate its 2nd birthday and International Translation Day. The event is financially supported by the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.  

The first-ever translation forum in Azerbaijan will bring together about 200 translators, linguists, journalists etc. to discuss (a) machine translation in Azerbaijan, (b) adaptation of the Azerbaijani language to the challenges of the new century, (c) translators’ right and interests (d) translation market in Azerbaijan.  

The International Federation of Translators  (FIT) will be represented in the event by the head of FIT Europe Eyvor Fogarty.
