On November 19, the Azerbaijan Youth Translators’ Association (AGTA) held an event for youth translators. Over 20 youth members of AGTA were in attendance.

The event titled ‘Interpreting in Scientific Environments’ kicked off with a presentation from scientist Dr Ketan Patel.

With a huge experience in working with interpreters in scientific environments, Mr.Patel shared the challenges he encountered in work with translators; the problems of interpretation; and gave recommendations and tips for interpreters. The presentation was followed with a Q&A section, and discussions.

The event serves key AGTA mission: provide comprehensive support to youth translators.
